How we can import stroke in after effects from illustrator?

You have know idea how helpful this video was. Learned video editing on premiere, but I can't afford a subscription nowadays. Instead of pirating, I figured I would give Davinci a shot. Downloaded it and instantly got cold feet. This video showed up on my recommended, and the whole thing clicked for me. I'm honestly super excited to dive in and learn it. I'm still a novice with video editing as a whole though, and had a question on something that's been racking my brain for a while. What is the real benefit of having multiple timelines on the same project? If you're only going to have one exported video, then why split the timeline up at all? Thanks.

Im using an orbiting camera in a level sequencer without a controller. I have it orbiting some static animated characters. I also have the camera set up to switch to another camera orbiting another animated character via a widget button. When i go to the second camera with the second widget and clcik on the button to return to the first camera, it looks like the camera is zooming in on the characters. It does this for a few seconds then resets properly. Any tips? I have keep state selected in the timeline

Keeps doing weird things...For me, for exemple: If I play with some value, like coordinates and save... It will be Resetted, if I save again, It will change de values again. But it's a tool with great potential.

this is a solution for your case only. just had this problem and my solution was different. in my case, a specific shader had a Speedtree function. ( I dont have anything from speedtree installed) but the asset came like that, so the shader was rendering just grey default. I deleted that node from the shader, saved, and problem gone. the right way to fix it is knowing how to read the output log and finding where the problem is.
